ELECTRICAL PROJECT MANAGER
Job Description
As a member of our project management team, you will oversee all aspects of assigned projects from commencement to completion. You will manage these projects in a manner that exceeds our owner expectations and ensures that our work adheres to all project specifications and company safety policies / OSHA-mandated requirements.

Job Specifics
- Review plans, specifications, and addenda for each assigned project.
- Review Construction Sequence made by estimating team.
- Develop detailed Construction Sequence
- Develop a schedule of construction operations.
- Set or determine Subcontractor's time frames.
- Determine manpower and equipment requirements.
- Order required materials
- Submit shop drawings for approval and maintain submittal log.
- Work with other division representative of tentative dates when their materials will be needed for specialty items only.
- Work with Contract Administrator to issue Subcontracts for ALL work that is subbed out (project-specific), including trucking companies.
- Review subcontractor quotes and material quotes received.
- Prepare a statement of the subcontractor's responsibility.
- Inform Strata Support regarding Certified Payroll requirements. Verify Certified Wage Rates have been forwarded to Support by estimating team.
- Attend an internal pre-job conference.
- Attend Owner/Engineer pre-job conference.
- Pre-construction Start-Up
- Construction Phase
- Post-Construction
- When necessary, estimate change orders for assigned projects.
- Negotiate and resolve all customer concerns.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Some travel required.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 5 years of heavy-highway, structural concrete, and underground utilities for civil projects.
- Civil Engineer/Construction Management/Electrical Engineering degree or experience equal to.
- Familiarity with specifications in the upper Midwest.
- Must possess the necessary verbal and written skills to interact with owners and clients professionally and courteously.
- Proficiency in computer programs and operations.
Compensation:
Compensation package is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
Must possess current valid driver's license and pass pre-employment drug testing and background check.
