Aggregate QC Technician - Bismarck, ND

As an Aggregate QC Technician with Strata Corporation, you will assist the crushing superintendent with work responsibilities such as the Collection of production samples, testing of material during production or in stockpile, and equipment operation. Travel is required throughout North Dakota.

General Responsibilities

• Ensure strict compliance with safety, health, environmental, employment, management, and other company policies, procedures, and principles established by government agencies and Strata Corporation.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.

• Have and maintain a current class D driver's license.

• Ability to work 50-60 hours per week

• Maintain confidentiality with privileged information.

• Present a favorable company image to customers and employees.

Specific Tasks

• Drive company support vehicles to and from job sites.

• Ability to perform general math

• Ability to work outdoors.
• Collect production samples.
• Learn to execute testing procedures, per Strata, NDDOT, MNDOT, and AASHTO requirements.
• Enter test data into the database and generate reports for QC and crushing, perform general computer skills.

• Perform all required aggregate testing on fracture, gradation, shale, etc...

• Maintain clean work area.

• Ability to problem solve

Minimum Experience:

• High School/GED required. A 2-year degree is preferred but not required.
• Three months experience preferred but not needed, will train.
• Aggregate industry experience is very welcomed

Compensation:

The compensation package is dependent upon qualifications and experience.

Must possess current valid driver license and pass pre-employment drug testing and background check.
